The Ninth Candle’s programs and events will all be conducted virtually until at least April, 2021.
The Ninth Candle was born in the belly of the coronavirus pandemic. We have never had to adapt an old business model to it. We are being shaped by it, and we are riding it toward a better future. We are also intimately related to it – because it triggered an upsurge in antisemitism, and in all forms of discrimination, across America.
Until the pandemic is over, the study of it will, by definition, be “work in progress.” We recognize that the situation is fluid, and we are committed to following the scientific community’s latest advice. We know that their advice will change as the pandemic changes. We are ready to adapt when necessary, and our in-person events will always be governed by the latest guidelines from the CDC, and from local and national governments.
